1. Booking & Payments

* A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required to reserve your session date.
* The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the session, unless otherwise stated in your agreement.
* Failure to submit payment on time may result in cancellation of your session.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

* The retainer fee is non-refundable under any circumstance.
* Sessions may be rescheduled once at no cost if requested at least 48 hours before the session.
* Same-day cancellations or no-shows result in forfeiture of all payments.
* If severe weather or unsafe conditions occur, Kaetlyn Doss Photography will reschedule your session at no additional cost.

3. Weather Policy

* Overcast or cloudy conditions do not qualify for rescheduling.
* Sessions will only be postponed for heavy rain, strong winds, extreme cold/heat, or unsafe travel conditions.
* Final weather decisions are made by the photographer.

 4. Lateness

* Please arrive on time.
* For Mini Sessions, late arrivals will result in reduced shooting time—sessions cannot be extended.
* For full sessions, more than 15 minutes late may result in rescheduling at the photographer’s discretion.

5. Editing & Delivery

* Standard turnaround:

* Mini Sessions: approx. 1 week
* Full Sessions: approx. 1–2 weeks
* Seniors & Newborns: 2–3 weeks
* Rush delivery may be available upon request for an additional fee.
* Only professionally edited images will be delivered. RAW files are not provided under any circumstance.

6. Image Selection

* The photographer selects the best images from the session.
* Images are culled, professionally edited, and delivered in an online gallery.
* Additional images beyond your package selection may be available for purchase.

7. Copyright & Usage

* All images are the copyright of Kaetlyn Doss Photography.
* Clients receive a personal-use license, allowing printing, sharing, and downloading for personal use.
* Clients may NOT:

* Apply filters or re-edit the images
* Sell the images
* Use the images for commercial or promotional purposes without written permission
* The photographer may use images for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

8. Client Cooperation

* Clients are responsible for the behavior of all participants, including children and pets.
* If a child or pet is uncooperative, the photographer will make every reasonable effort to get quality photos, but results may vary.

9. Safety

* For outdoor sessions, clients agree to follow safety instructions from the photographer.
* Kaetlyn Doss Photography is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage that occur during the session.

10. Digital Files & Gallery Access

* Online galleries remain available for a minimum of 30 days.
* Clients are responsible for downloading and storing their images within that timeframe.
* Lost gallery links can be resent; archived galleries may incur a small retrieval fee.

11. Revisions & Requests

* Minor touch-ups are included (skin smoothing, color correction, small distractions).
* Complex edits (body alterations, head swaps, object removal, etc.) may require an additional fee.

12. Liability

* If the photographer experiences an unexpected emergency, illness, or equipment failure and cannot complete the session, clients will receive a refund or the option to reschedule.
* Liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client.

By booking a session with Kaetlyn Doss Photography, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & conditions
